This presentation dives into the world of stories - the ones we tell about ourselves, the ones we tell about our students, and how both can have a profound impact. We'll explore real-life scenarios featuring challenging behaviors, such as those linked to ADHD and executive functioning. Through these stories, we'll discover practical strategies and accommodations to support these students. But the focus goes beyond just tactics. We'll delve into the importance of self-reflection and critical thinking.  Are the stories we tell about our students truly theirs? By exploring guiāding questions and reframing our perspectives, we can unlock a deeper understanding of our students' journeys and create a more supportive learning environment for all.
