Given the challenges of teaching in fully self-ccontained behavioral classrooms, it is essential for teachers to manage their own stress while recognizing and responding to trauma in their students. Educator will explore strategies using personality priorities and resiliency factors to help facilitate behavioral interventions in the classroom. In this session, educators will explore the factors that increase resilience in themselves and in children and strategize ways of using these resliency factors with students with challenging behaviors or significant trauma.
